What the Expert Says:

I assume you are talking about how to manage your time around particular classes. You are very wise to work on this and develop a plan for studying in college.

Consider these ideas:

1) There are no fool-proof methods that fit the needs of every individual. What works for you may not work for your friends, for example, and what works for them may not work for you. Keep this in mind as you put together your plan.

2) One idea is to determine a set time of the day (and number of minimum hours) which is your time to study. Some people feel fresher early in the day, while others prefer to study in the evening. Whatever is best for you is what you should follow.

3) Find a place that is quiet to study- library, classroom building, etc. Do not study in your room if it is noisy, full of other 'visitors' or if your roommate is on the phone all the time, etc. This will save you from wasting time.

Overall, develop a plan and stick to it! Good luck!
