Shy2012 asks:

How would you make your backpack lighter by keeping the same things in it?

I'm starting to get back problems from this and I have tried to carry it with my hands but it won't go away. I just don't know what to do!

What the Expert Says:

Dear Shy:

Try loading your back pack from bottom up with flat surfaces such as books against your back. Empty out what you don't need.  Keep the straps tight and sometimes it helps to use the belt attachment so you don't lean forward when walking.  you could also ask for a set of books at home not to have to move them back and forth.
