Q:
Is birth control appropriate for a 10 year old to help level out her hormones?
I have a 10 1/2 year old who has been experiencing higher sensitivity & emotions for about a year now. I realize she could start her period any time and that it's probably hormones causing the problem, but what can I do about it.
I'd like to be able to give her something to level out her hormones but at the same time I don't really want to medicate her. Is birth control appropriate for a 10 year old? Are there other alternatives? HELP!
