Calculating percents

There are 1144 students, 209 scored a proficient grade on the test and 162 scored above average.  How can I find out the percents for each category.  My answer for both should be 64% but it is lower, what am I doing wrong

You need additional information to answer this question.  For instance, 209 is 64% of what number (e.g., 209 is 64% of 326 -- see formula below)?  And 162 is 64% of what number (e.g., 253)?

209/X = 64/100
