It's great to know that you are willing helping you child learn how to read. Contact your local adult schools and/or libraries for information on the reading programs they offer.

Here's an example, the Redwood City Public Library has a program called Project READ. Their main goal is to provide literacy training to those willing to learn. I've included their website as well as another site that you might find beneficial. Good luck.
