How can you tell if your child has ADD or other LD?
My oldest daughter has a hard time staying on task, following multistage directions, and sitting still. She is 7 and in the first grade. I feel like she is falling behind in class due to this and wondered if I should get her tested and how to go about getting an IEP if needed. Please advise.

Share your concerns with your school teacher, counselor and principal. If you are not getting the help that you need, if you request formal testing in writing, the school will have 90 days to work with your request.
