My child can't seem to make close friends
My second grader had no detectable issues socially- that is she gets along well with other kids and knows how to behave in a social situation. Yet she is unable to make close friends. The teacher and I don't understand what is going on. She seems very sad to me. I really need help.

Hi,my name is amy and i had the same promblem when i was in second grade.I was nice and very quiet but didnot seem to make any friends.So i tried going up to some kids and saying hi and telling them my name. So if your child seem to be shy like i was just talk to her and tell her to be brave.
