Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk,

This is a tricky question. I have worked in several school districts and the answer in those were YES.  If a child harmed others or threatened others they were suspended for a period of time. If they were caught cheating or stealing, they also may be suspect for suspension.  However, the best answer to your question should come from your local school district office.  There should be documentation that will assist you.
