Q:
My child is studing Spanish as a second language. She is doing extremely well, but is reluctant to speak the language. How can I get her to speak it?
She is in middle school and her has studied Spanish since 2ND grade. Her teacher says she understands very well, but will answer in English. She wants to be a surgeon and wants to learn at least 3 languages besides English so she won't have to depend upon translators. How can I get her to start speaking the language even though we, her parents won't understand what she is saying all the time?
