What the Expert Says:

How old is your child?  If it is developmentally appropriate for him or her to bring homework, but he or she does not, talk with the teachers to find out how your child does in school.  Does he pay attention?  Does he complete his work in class?  Does he follow directions?  Does he play cooperatively with other children?

How is he at home?  Can he sit through a movie, follows directions, or does he get distracted and fidgety?

The teachers will give you a valuable input, and based on that you will be able to decide if you need to speak with your child's regular health cre provider for an evaluation of his behaviors.

Best regards.
