What the Expert Says:

The injection for H1N1 is a killed virus and the main side effect is a sore arm.  The nasal vaccine is a cold adapted live virus which dies at body heat in the nose. In order to build immunity to any disease, you receive some form of that virus or bacteria to stimulate an immune response.  Check with your doctor. She will tell you about what possibilities exist for your family.
