Q:
how do i convince the school board committee that my son isnt ready for first grade??
myself, my husband, and my sons kindergarden teacher feel as if my son isnt ready for 1st grade. hes far behind others in his class and his teachers even work with him one on one everyday. he is struggling really bad and is now beginning to be completely lost in school now days. his teacher talked to the school board committee and they still want him to continue into 1st grade. we know that hes really no where near being ready for it and i need some advice on what to do or say to try to convince the school board committee that he really not ready for 1st grade and that it would be best for him to repeat kindergarden.
