I believe you're referring to Cascading Style Sheets. CSS is most often used to style webpages (fonts, colors, positioning, etc).

I'm not sure what you would cover in your first year of CSS, but some of the fundamentals include: Proper use, styling, tables, groups, margins, images, etc.
