My husband's birthday is next weekend, and I've always tried to find inexpensive ideas that the kids can do for him, any ideas for a craft or an activity or maybe even a special treat they could make for him. The kids are 8 and 5.

Here are some fun ideas that you and your kids can do to celebrate his special day.

- Make a big breakfast with his favorite foods.
- A day of exploring. Take the family on a hike, the beach, your favorite park...
- Create a birthday card or special drawing.
