Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk,

Preschool children are rarely diagnosed with dyslexia as reading and writing problems are expected at this developmental stage.  I often tell parents that Toy R US reverses their R as a homage to young children and they way they read and write.  Educators expect reversals with letters, numbers and during reading until around the second grade.
