I hope i read your question right but if you are a teacher looking for advice to give to a child around the age 6,7, or 8 in making friends ....then my personal opinion i think you should tell the child to open up and interact in the other things the kids are and if a child does'nt open up to him/her then.....honestly, from a teen to a child point of view .......that child dont need any friends, as long as that child is getting the love, comfort and support from his parents/family......yall Gucci !!! if you know what i mean.

In dealing with a child worry, we can reassure them of their worth and value to us ,as well to God, both of whom love them unconditionally and in selecting friends i would maintain a group to learn cooperation skills with love unconditionally!!      Shutterfly
