Learning adjectives can be a lot of fun. I would recommend finding objects that fit the word list adjectives in the links below to strengthen the meaning of the words. Then you can proceed toward having your child choose objects of their choice, and have them find appropriate sensory adjectives to describe the chosen objects.

You can also make a poster for each of the sensory adjective wordlists and continue adding to them. Perhaps, you and your child can make a game out of seeing who can brainstorm or find the most sensory adjectives throughout the day. You can look in reading material and listen for them in movies, overheard conversations, on the radio, television, etc...

Here is a link to a great list of sensory adjectives that break down the words by sense, i.e., sight, touch, sound, taste and taste. The list comes after the explanation of the lesson.
