You need more information.  As a family counselor and the author of Stop Bullying Now, I would want more specifics and what your child is doing to be annoying.
Some kids are not intuitively astute with social cues and need more guidance on what is appropriate to blend in.  What is he or she doing to be annoying?  
Give alternatives. Ask your child how it is working and what the response is of others.....and what might be a better one.  Explore the right answer together.
