Discipline Referall

My eight year old has been a model student and has never been in any trouble. She picked up the teachers white out and strectched it and was given a referall. The asst. principal said she wasnt being malicious just curious. However, she has a referall on here school record and we need to purchase a new one which I am alreight with. I am not alright with the referall on her record this is the first and only time she has ever seen a principals office. Is there anything I can do?

What the Expert Says:

More than likely this one incident should not be a problem. Whiteout is considered an inhalant. This does not seem to be a concern in this situation. Talk to the principal about purging the discipline referral from her record. Use this opportunity to teach your child that misbehavior has consequences.
