Rwilliams1 asks:

Am I expecting too much from Head Start?

How can I be sure that my child's Head Start program isn't  too weak or unstructured for my child. They don't want to push or guide him to do anything he doesn't want to do (i.e. forming letters, or drawing shapes). However, I know he can do it with reinforcement from school, if it's made fun. Who's the child? Am I expecting too much from Head Start?

I think it will help for you to take a more active role in your son's education.  If you don't feel the program is challenging him, talk to the teachers and see what can be done.  You might also try working with your son at home and helping to give him a head start on Head Start.
