Pre-school education is NOT essential for every pre-school age child. While some kids will benefit from early exposure to academics the only real positive is the socialization. And I stress, early exposure to academics should be limited to presenting the academic materials to the children & letting them decide if they would like to participate in practicing it. It should never be forced. Let them play for they are little only once.
"Play is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and youth." American Academy of Pediatrics
"Play is integral to the academic environment. It ensures that the school setting attends to the social and
emotional development of children as well as their cognitive development. It has been shown to help children
adjust to the school setting and even to enhance children’s learning readiness, learning behaviors, and problem-solving skills.22–32
