I would imagine so. This sounds like a good project. You'll need equally sized patches of a number of fabrics (cotton, wool, linen, nylon, polyester, blends, etc.). You can use a few staining items like red wine, blood (find a volunteer :O), ketchup, bacon grease, etc. Then choose a removing agent, a detergent spray of some sort for example. Treat the stains with exactly the same amount of spray and put them all in the laundry together. You will have your results to report. Good luck!
