Hi Marylou, I'm sorry to hear about your financial situation.

Have you tried contacting your school's financial aid office? They may have resources to support you, much the way Cal State Fullerton does for their students: http://www.fullerton.edu/FinancialAid/tcred/tcredbdy.htm

Education.com has a College Financing special edition you may want to review as well: http://www.education.com/topic/college-financial-planning/

I also found some scholarship info on the following sites that may be helpful to you:

http://www.collegescholarships.org/scholarships/teaching-students.htm

http://oedb.org/scholarship/teacher

http://www.teachingtips.com/blog/2008/07/01/101-scholarships-just-for-teachers/

Good luck to you -- I hope you're able to secure the funds you need to pursue your teaching credential.
