Hi tgritton7,

I would use the internet. There are sites such as Facebook.com and Linkedin.com where people post various information about themselves. You might be able to find the people in question on sites such as these, and depending on their privacy settings you could see this information.

Besides the internet, you could ask other people who know them as well.

If this is associated with the school, it is one of the questions of enrollment at our school, which will tell the highest education level of the mother and father.  It does not provide details though, you just circle the highest level completed, so if college is circled it won't tell what the accomplishments were in college.  The best way is just to ask.
