Every school is different in how they choose to inform parents of their child's teacher assignment. Some schools send a letter, others will post teacher assignments just a few days before school. You should call your child's school and ask the school secretary or principal (if they are available) when teacher assignments are made, and when you can expect to be informed of the match. You may also consider asking if you can speak with your child's teacher before school starts to discuss your child and get the school year off on the right foot.
