My girl is 4 years old , her birth date is jan, 25th 2008. Can she attend elementary school for kindergarden this year 2012. If not, then is there any procedure for it. Can she give school test to get admission? Plz let me know.

This depends on the state you live in. In general the cut off date is September 2nd. Meaning your child needs to be 5 years old by September2, 2012 in order to attend Kindergarten. There is no exception in public schools however, private schools may make exceptions by a few weeks. If you live in California the cut off date for 2012 is November 2nd & will contiue to move forward each year till it sets on Sept. 2nd.
