Hi, It's important that your daughter choose a project that really interests her, while also meeting guidelines the teacher has provided and following the scientific method.

Here are some elementary school-level science fair project ideas that Education.com has compiled for her (and your) consideration: http://www.education.com/science-fair/elementary-school/

Here is information about the scientific method and helping your child with science fair projects: http://www.education.com/topic/help-child-with-science-fair-projects/

Good luck -- I hope all goes well with your daughter's science exploration!

Bouncy Eggs. What you do is put an egg in vinegar and leave it in there for about 2-3 days. When you take it out you can bounce it. That is how I won the science fair last year.

Preparing a math puzzle or a green house would be the best and she will definitely be awarded if she makes that. You can get to learn mathematical tricks on online portals like 1to1 tutor etc.

My daughter in 4th grade conducted an experiment to see how the external factors like sound, music and TV while doing homework affect different age kids/adults. It was lot of fun and she enjoyed it and she got lot of compliments about the experiment and the presentation she put together.
