What the Expert Says:

Dear Walida,

It is not a good feeling to feel ignored, especially by the people we look up to in our lives. We are not sure if you are referring to a teacher or to your parents, but not all grown ups ignore teenagers when they ask questions! If you feel this is a problem at school, please talk to your school counselor about it. If you think your parents are ignoring you, try to tell them how you feel.

Here at the Boys Town National Hotline, we talk to teenagers about many different issues. You can call or e-mail us and talk with a counselor who will help you with any problem. We also have an awesome website for teenagers you may want to take a look at: www.yourlifeyourvoice.org
We are here 24/7 to listen and to help!

Take care and hope to hear from you soon!
