What the Expert Says:

Homework is reinforcement what what it learned in the classroom. I also think the most valuable homework is experiential- collecting, interviewing, observing, writing.

Surely homework is important for a student to fully understand the topic but what I always fear is the teacher not doing his best to explain everything to a student and then blaming student's lack of knowledge on student himself. In the end no one can blame this student for using websites like http://acewriters.org/. So before we parents should think about the pros of homework, we should know what kind of teachers are teaching are kids. Only then we can determine whether homework is a bliss or a curse to a student.

Homework is not good at all, children should engage in playing with each other or else, but not sit at home all the time chained to the desk, doing homework. Some experts even believe that homework enhances social inequality. While one child's parents or tutors help him with tasks, another has to solve it himself. Someone finds the information in a few clicks on the Internet, while others have to wait for the right book in the library and make incredibly long notes by writing them down.
