MarshallSan... asks:

Hypersensitive boy syndrome or what?

I am a father of a boy who is almost 5 years old, he has always been extremely affectionate, a few have called him an "indigo child". In the past year or so we have noticed that anytime he is aggressively confronted, such as scolded, or snapped at, his eyes begin to tear up and he starts to cry.

He also reacts the same way to certain situations such as not getting basic help with teeth, dressing, or general everyday things. He is an extremely well behaved child and people tell us that he is just high energy. I've looked around online and have seen alot on behavioral issues, but I don't think that's it. He is just very sensitive, can anyone guide me to some readings, blogs, or information.

Thanks in advance.
