Any ideas for teaching the concept of before and after.  This seems to be a difficult concept for my four year olds.

What the Expert Says:

Hello,

Photography is an excellent method for teaching time based principles. For example showing an ice cube then the various stages of melting helps with before and after.

The same would be true of situations involving your child, such as snapping a photo of a full plate of food and then your child's plate after he/she has eaten.

Good luck!
