Dear DadyW:

I would venture more young teens are comfortable in who they are or are likely to be.  The world around them has become more accepting in most cases.  However, the journey to sexual being is just that--a journey and not a quick decision. Always be a good listener, supportive of the process of discovery, and offer advice when asked. Young people respond best when they sense trust around them not hostility or rejection.
