Could you please add more information to your question?  Such as if these are English speaking children learning Spanish for the first time or native Spanish speakers? The goals would be different.

Assuming the are English speakers- consider starting with learning words for basic activities, people in the environment and places.  Five new words at a time should be the goal for this age group.  Once achieved add new words.

Also, use labels within the environment to help with sight vocabulary.
