Q:
What to do when league stacks all the "good" players on one team and leaves all the other kids behind?
Our local basketball league has allowed all the "star" players to be on one team and put all the rest together on the "B" team. The problem is that some of these kids fall right in the middle and face humiliation because even though they are the "B" team, they play all the same teams in competition. I just don't see how this can be good for any of their self esteems. Unfortunately, because of our small community, there are no other sports programs. It's not about winning for me, I would not want my son on the stacked team, it's embarrassing to me. Is it right not to participate?
