Q:

Can I link to Education.com from my class website?

"I am a kindergarten teacher and I have a website...that I use to inform parents of what happening in class, to post pics of kids, and to share educational information. I would like to add a link from my parent page to Education.com. Is it legal for me to do so?"

Hi Shawndy, I think it's wonderful that you have a website to keep your students' parents well-informed about the learning in your classroom. We often see questions in JustAsk from parents looking for such website for their children's classes.

To answer your question, Education.com is a great link to add to a school or classroom website. We appreciate administrators and teachers sending us the URL for the website(s) on which they are posting a link to Education.com (using the Contact Us form here: http://www.education.com/contact/ ).

Beyond a link to the Education.com homepage, there are also some free educational widgets and tools available for teacher and school websites. You can peruse those resources here: http://www.education.com/tools/
