What the Expert Says:

It survives on surfaces for about four hours. It does not live on cloth which is why we recommend you cough into your sleeve.  Doorknobs, keyboards etc which are non porous were tested, I am not sure if non porous surfaces were tested.Wayne Yankus, MD, FAAP
