You can receive the seasonal flu shot and the 2009 pandemic influenza A shot (aka swine flu) at the same time. If you decide to get the nasal spray (live, attenuated influenza vaccine or LAIV) for both seasonal and the 2009 pandemic influenza A virus then those cannot be given at the same time as they may not be effective. Speak with your physician about scheduling both vaccines.
