Is there money available to help pay the $150.00 charged for the classes the seniors take in high school and receive college credit for them? Many single parent households are not able to come up with this money but would like their children to be able to attend college and with a head start.

There may be money available from your school to help pay for taking these classes (likely AP). You should ask your high school guidance counselor if there are funds- that students without the money to pay for these courses should not be denied the same opportunity as other students.

Keep pushing for your ability to take AP courses.

Well, I agree that you should ask your school if such credits are available and you can get it. I think that they may provide such an option because paying for college is often a trouble. Otherwise, you can get any other loan (there is a variety of lending products today) and pay for classes. Schools are expensive today, but with a help of a short-term small loan you can make a payment. But I think before taking out a loan you should go to school and ask if they offer any options for parents, maybe they provide loans with lower interest rates.
