You need to find your state's home school association so you have the right tools and education plans required by your state and school district. I do not home school but have heard there are requirements and every year there is a big Home School Association convention type show in Harrisburg PA.  So you need to find out what you should be teaching.   No offense but you should have looked into this before withdrawing your son from public or private school.  I think it is a big undertaking and so important for your son.  I have seen kids come into the public school system after having been home schooled by people who didn't know what they were doing.  Those children suffer academically and socially so please get involved with a legitimate group or organization.

Second, I have done exactly what you said and did it before posting this question. My major concern is I don't know how fast to move and what's a good daily/weekly agenda. My son knows colors, shapes, letters, patterns, knows that each letter has it's own sound, and that letters make up words. He even knows many site words. So question is, should I do math, phonics, geography, handwriting, reading, art, ect. everyday? What subjects go good together? how long should I practice addition, subtraction? those kind of things.
