find the trusted parent who will listen to you and start by saying what you are feeling about both sexes.  Remember this is a listening session.  Ask your family (parent, grandparent etc) to just listen then talk. Depending on your age, this is not a commitment rather you are exploring your feelings toward others. Take is slowly and if a family member is not available, try your guidance counselor or a member of your faith community if they are tolerant of diversity.

I think you should just tell them but be suttle. Many kids go through the same thing and have been accepted for it. You choose who you want to be not your parents.
