Hi, There is a lot of great information that answers your question on the FCAT website.  http://fcat.fldoe.org/

This page in particular covers the graduation requirements and your options if you don't pass the mandated reading portion of the test:
http://fcat.fldoe.org/pdf/fcatpass.pdf

The document linked above also covers comparable scores on the ACT and SAT test, as well as your GED options and follow-up resources with the Florida Department of Education.

Additionally, here is general GED information on Education.com:
http://www.education.com/topic/ged-and-college/
http://www.education.com/answers/ged-programs/

I hope these resources are helpful to you in achieving your academic goals.

All you really need to do is take a G.E.D. You can obtain this through your local college. Just ask them what you need to do to get it. Then you can attend that college if you pass the test to get the G.E.D. All the G.E.D. is a general diploma. There is no real difference in that and the one you get from a high school. Hope this helps :)
