What the Expert Says:

Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk!

Many times people who have difficulty with recall need to have a multi-modal approach.  For example, to memorize a driving route one many need to draw it, map it out on a computer, follow it with the fingers on a map, hear it explained and perhaps write a little song/jingle as a mnemonic technique.

Also, thanks to technology, people with memory difficulties have it easier than in the past!

Good luck!
