Hello,
I haven't been able to find any "recipe" for plaster. Every instructional article I found suggested starting with plaster of paris mix - which can be found at most craft, art, and hardware stores.
The article posted below gave really detailed instructions for the process which you'll hopefully find helpful.
Good luck - it's a really fun project. I've molded both my kids' hands a number of times and love having those keepsakes as they grow.
