First, think about your subject "Shawnee Indians", now from your own thoughts, ask yourself-What would YOU like to know about the Shawnee Indians? Would you like to know where they lived, how they lived, survived, found food, prepared meals, made clothes, cared for their children. What does the name Shawnee mean, would you like to know where are they now, or maybe something else of interest.

Next, do your research for your essay specifically looking for the answers to your questions and write about it.

When your essay is complete, you will have a list of questions and a paper, that upon reading it will answer all those questions.
