venba asks:

rating trends - data noise

We were looking to buy a house in Warren,NJ. When i look up the testing score for the school, it comes  back as 7 which i consider low.

How do i know if this is just a onetime noise in data, or if this is actually how this particular elementary school has performed all along?

Is it possible for us to see past data points/scores for a given school?

Also, it would be great if you guys can post the reason why a school has a 7, or 8, or a 9 ranking. Without information backing up the data, the numbers may seem meaningless.
