MissionaryMom asks:

Best reading curriculum for dyslexia

I so appreciate all the homeschool moms who wrote in with their experiences and expertise on another person's similar question. My child is in 6th grade and we are trying to find curriculum that we can afford. The Barton system sounds wonderful but the price may be high. How fast do children progress through the levels? Truly I want my child to go as fast as he is able but $200 - $300 a level? Has anyone tried the Wilson reading system? It is around $500 but it looks like you get all the levels at one time. I want to use our Sonlight curriculum with whatever we use. Would it be possible to do the history and science parts - perhaps the read alouds and some of the other books? It was so wonderful to read other Moms input. My son and I are not alone! I can homeschool a child with dyslexia. I just wish I could sit down with all of you.
