Redirection is the act of guiding a child onto a different activity/behavior/location/etc. In education it is mainly used to change behavior and redirect a child's negative behavior (i.e. calling out) and channel it into a more positive behavior (i.e raising hand). This can be done in many ways, but you have to know the child you are working with.
