Q:
How do I register my son for publicly funded Alaska State remote site 5th grade education package?
Have accepted job as winter caretaker at remote site in Southeastern Alaska. My son is going into 5th grade. I assume Alaska has a publicly funded curriculum, (books, study-guide, et cetera). I did some home schooling as a kid, both Calvert course and Univ. of Nebraska extension courses, but the Calvert course is expensive compared to my salary as caretaker. Where do I apply to get a 5th grade education package from Alaska state?
