The Republican Education Plan...
...will take more than 190,000 preschool slots from poor children by 2014
...2 million children will be shut out of the preschool program over 10 years
...will drastically reduce the amount of money that goes to low-income students and schools
...1 million college students will lose their grant money
...will take the money from the low-income schools and start a voucher program
...class sizes will increase
...80,000 or more teacher's jobs will be lost
It is good to research on reputable Republican websites or at your local Republican headquarters. There is a strong liberal bias in the first response and it is untrustworthy in that respect.
In fact this is what the Republican Party has on their website:
We believe that maintaining a world-class system of primary and secondary education with high standards in which all students can reach their potential is critically important to America's future. We believe parents should be empowered to send their children to the school of their choice.
