sweetieinci... , Parent, Teacher asks:

resources for down syndrome

I'm looking for resources dealing with students with down syndrome including prompting for tasks. I'm dealing with a para who over prompts and I'm finding that I'm starting to do it too (even though I know I need to have a specific wait time). Does anyone know of anything I could use to help figure out the correct way to prompt my 2 students with ds and give my para to get her to understand. It's caused over-dependency on this para and I'm new to the room and wanting to make these two independent.
